PTSD/Traumatic Experiences Group for Women

Friday Nights 6pm to 7:30pm in Pleasant Hill, CA

Traumatic experiences can result in re-experiencing the trauma, persistent avoidance and increased arousal symptoms, such as:

• Terrible dreams, nightmares and daytime flashbacks to the event
• Experience physical reactions to stress such as sweating and rapid heart rate
• May develop a diminished interest in activities that used to give pleasure
• Detachment from other people, restricted range of feeling
• Fight or flight feelings, sleep disturbances
• Irritability, outbursts of anger, difficulty concentrating
• Increased vigilance, exaggerated startle response

$40 per session, payable monthly in advance - sliding scale available based on financial need.
