Trauma Therapy
Traumatic experiences can result in a number of distressing experiences. Creating a sense of safety in your current life and working with the underlying trauma can be an effective approach for:
"Trauma is constituted in an intersubjective context in which severe emotional
pain cannot find a relational home in which it can be held. In such a
context painful affect states become unendurable -- that is, traumatic." -- Robert Stolorow, Trauma and

About me
I work primarily with people who have experienced trauma. I am EMDR trained and in the process of being trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I consider it to be just as important to learn how to feel good as it is to explore the underlying trauma. I consider medication to be your choice and do not require it for you to be seen, regardless of diagnosis.
My education includes an MA in Consulting Psychology, an MBA with a concentration in Financial Management, an MS in Management Information System and an MA in Counseling Psychology. I find it useful to draw on multiple disciplines when looking for the best way to approach problems.
